About Niki Shahali

Niki is one of the fortunate few who discovered his life’s calling as a trusted real estate advisor and a valued member of the Shaheen & Company team. With a background in building and hospitality, transitioning to real estate felt natural for Niki. His lifelong, hands-on experience, beginning when he accompanied his father to development sites, combined with his passion for relationships and client care, made it a perfect fit. His years in the service industry sharpened his ability to listen, which he now considers a superpower, allowing him to truly understand his clients’ needs and translate them into finding the ideal home.

Niki’s early childhood in Vienna, Austria, gave him an appreciation for architecture, design, and culture. Having spent most of his life in Toronto, he adores the city’s diversity and sees a kinship with New York City. He loves how sleek modern skyscrapers coexist with the historic Victorian gems he has always admired. Though he knows every corner of the city, Niki often explores Central Toronto or vibrant Little Italy, home to some of his favorite spots for dining and entertainment.

Optimistic about Toronto’s future, Niki believes the city is a “powerhouse in the making,” full of talent, creativity, and opportunity. He’s eager to help his clients seize those opportunities and looks forward to doing so alongside his colleagues at Shaheen & Company.

When not working on deals or showing houses, Niki enjoys cycling or snowboarding, depending on the season, diving into the latest industry news, and bouncing ideas around with his brother, lifelong collaborator, or his mentor and friend, Shawn Tahririha.
